The United Methodist Women is an organization of friendly,
vital women ranging in age from 20-something to 80-something.
There are 80+ members on roll who meet monthly in one
of five circles.
Circle 1
meets at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Sunday School room
on the first floor of the Education Building the first
Tuesday of the month with the exception of June, July,
August and December. Members are in the 50+ age range.
This mission minded group has a business meeting followed
by the lesson.
Circle 2,
comprised of ladies over 50, meets every first Monday
at 2:30 p.m. except July, August and December in the homes
of individual members. They rotate hostesses and have
dessert and fellowship following their lesson and a salad
luncheon in June.
Circle 3
meets every first Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., except June, July
and December, in the church parlor behind the Chapel.
Ranging in age from mid-30s to mid-50s, many of these
women have careers and children in their late teens to
20s. They rotate hostesses and enjoy dessert and fellowship
followed by the lesson. Circle 3 holds a salad supper
in August.
Additionally, the full UMW has luncheon or dinner meetings in January, March, June, September and December. A delicious meal, prepared by the church hostess is followed by an informative program.
