It's a new year at West Point First and here are a few events already on the calendar! West Point First UMC, West Point Presbyterian, and West Point First Baptist churches will join for Three Nights Together--TNT--January 14, 21 and 28. Services begin each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of each church: 14th--West Point First UMC 21st--West Point Presbyterian 28th--West Point FBC Old-time hymn singing and a combined choir will be featured at each service. A Nursery will be provided. The Community Concert Series presents soloist Rosaphanye Dunn in a recital Sunday, February 4 at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Sunday, February 11 is Children's Sunday. Join us as our children take over duties as the choir and worship leaders for the Morning Worship Service. Wednesday, February 14 is Valentine's Day! Get with your sweetie and join us for an extra special Family Night Supper at 6:00 p.m. Call the church office to make reservations. Tuesday, February 20 is Shrove Tuesday--the final day of Mardi Gras. We will have a Fat Tuesday Pancake Family Night Supper in the Zachry Center at 6:00 p.m. This will take the place of our regular Wednesday Night Supper for the week. Our annual Ash Wednesday Service--marking the beginning of the Lenten Season--will be held in the Chapel Wednesday, February 21 at 6:30 p.m. A Nursery will be provided. Every first Sunday, West Point First UMC offers a Contemporary Worship Service at 8:45 a.m. in the Zachry Center. The Coffee Bar opens at 8:30. Come ready to worship the Lord with live music, powerpoint, and powerful preaching in a casual atmosphere.
