From time
to time throughout the year, to add a little spice to life,
First United Methodist plans special events, not only for
our own church family but also for the community at large.
These events run the gamut from fun for the young and the
young at heart to more serious, thoughtful projects.
Jewish Seder Meal ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Every other year, on Maundy Thursday night, the entire community
is invited to participate in an authentic Jewish Seder.
Along with the formal Seder Meal, an authentic Jewish Passover
meal is served. Afterwards, area choirs combine to present
a Lenten Cantata.
